Pilot plant

Our pilot plant has been online since 2021 and has validated our technology using customer samples from across the battery value chain.
Single Stack Plant (SSP)
Location: Delta, British Columbia
Scale: 1,000 tonnes per annum (1 ktpa)
Technology: Clear-Li™ electrochemical lithium refining

The SSP is Mangrove’s first commercial facility, offering tolling services and product offtake agreements. It marks the transition from pilot to production to commercialization. This is North America’s first commercial electrochemical lithium refining facility and will produce enough battery grade lithium for approx 20,000 EV’s a year. The plant will be fully operational by Q1 2026.
