Our Customers

Hard rock & clay lithium producers

Mangrove takes spodumene concentrate or lithium sulfate feedstock from hard rock & clay lithium producers and process it into lithium sulfate and then refine that into battery grade lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate. The electrochemical refining technology eliminates the need for caustic soda reagents, reducing OPEX while at the same time eliminating the creation of any sodium sulfate waste byproducts that carry a burden of disposal.

Lithium brine & DLE producers

Takes brine concentrate and DLE eluate and processes lithium sulfide. Lithium chloride is then refined into a battery grade lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate using a electrochemical technology, eliminating the need for chemical reagents. This lowers OPEX and creates a hydrochloric byproduct that can be recycled in upstream processing steps. Our process directly converts lithium chloride into battery grade lithium hydroxide, sidestepping the intermediate lithium carbonate conversion step.

Battery recyclers

Mangrove takes lithium sulfate feedstock from battery recyclers and process and refines it into battery grade lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate. The electrochemical refining technology eliminates the need for caustic soda reagents, reducing OPEX while at the same time eliminating the creation of any sodium sulfate waste byproducts that carry a burden of disposal.

Lithium refiners

Mangrove Lithium provides a more cost-effective and versatile refining solution for lithium refiners. Our technology is feedstock flexible, capable of processing various lithium sources, and product flexible, allowing the production of both lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate. Proving the efficiency and economics of Mangrove’s electrochemical lithium refining solution

Located near Vancouver, BC, Mangrove’s pilot plant has been in operation since 2021. With commercial scale capabilities, the pilot plant is used to test customer samples and demonstrate techno-economics with a multitude of feedstocks.
